MONDAY, 26 JUNE<\/strong>
The Egyptian Association Against Torture is organizing a conference<\/a>, from 6pm to 9pm<\/strong>, at the Press Syndicate<\/strong>, to mark the International Day Against Torture.
At 7pm<\/strong>, the Society of Sheikh Imam\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Fans will hold a music memorial for the legendary people\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s singer, also at the Press syndicate<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kefaya, Socialists, Workers for Change and labor union activists will meet at 7pm<\/strong> in the Center for Socialist Studies<\/a>, to discuss strategy and tactics for the coming national labor unions elections<\/strong>, scheduled 20 August. The meeting will be open for the press. The center is located at 7 Morad St., in Giza. The center\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s director, Kamal Khalil, and other recently released detainees will be attending the discussion.<\/p>\n

TUESDAY, 18 JULY<\/strong>
The Center for Socialist Studies is organizing a lecture, 7pm<\/strong>, titled, The Palestinian Divisions: New pressures on Hamas<\/strong>. Speakers include: Dr. Hassan Naf3a<\/strong>, Political Science prof at Cairo University, together with one of the center\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s members<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Center for Socialist Studies is organizing a discussion on, The Ya3qoubian Building\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 An insight into Mubarak\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Egypt<\/strong>.
