Meanwhile <a title=\"Free Alaa! Blog\" href=\"http:\/\/freealaa.blogspot.com\/\">Alaa Seif al-Islam<\/a>, <strong>Nada al-Qassas<\/strong>, and <strong>Rasha 3azab<\/strong>, were given another 15 more days in prison.<\/p>\n<p>The six pro-democracy detainees initially refused to leave the prisoners\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 trucks, charging the State Security prosecutor of complicity with State Security police, and requested to be investigated by a magistrate. The detainees later reversed their position, up on the request of their lawyers, who attended the interrogations with them.<\/p>\n<p>In another development, <a title=\"VOA report on Sharqawi\" href=\"http:\/\/www.voanews.com\/english\/2006-05-29-voa25.cfm\">Mohamed el-Sharqawi&#8217;s<\/a> lawyers and\u00c2\u00a0seven rights organizations have issued a new <a title=\"Statement from Sharqawi's lawyers\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hrinfo.net\/en\/reports\/2006\/pr0604.shtml\">statement<\/a>, with more details on the Youth for\u00c2\u00a0Change activist&#8217;s recent interrogation, the release of the two detainees, and the crackdown on the hunger-strikers in Mazra3et Tora prison.
