Geez, going by Arabist standards, the only people who qualify as pro-Palestinian are Hamas, Iran and American college students who do an ISM field trip.

I believe Hamas is asking in return that Israel stop attacking gaza. I don’t see this happening now that fatah is gone and people are fleeing which makes killing Hamas militants a lot easier.
I guess he had to bag the Pope option, then. Probably figured he could wreak more havoc as a mideast envoy.
