Excellent! I found a great bookstore in Tangier last night and bought a copy of an-Nahayat — which I started late last night when I should have been studying vocabulary. I then, as chance would have it, woke up this morning and took an exam in which I had to disect a Munif essay on the societies of the Gulf. (He had, um, nothing but good things to say about them. Um…)
I must say, I was really impressed by MIT-EJMES’s edition dedicated to last summer’s war in Lebanon, so I’m looking forward to reading this new edition.
