- Polls show Israel’s Likud party leading – Yahoo! Kadima, the ruling party, currently has 29 seats. The poll forecast the once-dominant Labor, headed by Defense Minister Ehud Barak, winning just 10 seats. The poll, conducted by the Dialog agency, surveyed 488 people and had a margin of error of 4.5 percentage points."
Brennan was a supporter of Rendition (there’s a famous clip of him in 2005 on the Newshour – I saw it on Democracy Now’s Nov 17 program – available on the web through link below). He thinks its a successful policy for extracting information.
Also watch for Jimi Miscik (also heading Barack’s transition team). She was responsible for politicizing intell in the lead-up to Iraq
