I’ve always been a big fan of Jon Stewart, but hadn’t ever seen him comment in more than passing on Palestine/Israel stuff. I suppose I feared he would be like most other American liberals who have this massive blind spot of injustice on the topic. Seeing Stewart speak like this, I’m not only relieved, I can say my esteem for him just went up 10 notches. Now we just need to get him back on CNN screaming at all the reporters (not just the crossfire types) about what losers they are not doing their jobs and forcing Americans to go to a comedian to get an inkling of what reality is!
WHo says the US news corporatons are biased? Americans can get a genuine picture of events anytime they wish…. provided they tune into Comedy Central 😉
This is amazing, not only did he denounce Israeli attacks on Gaza, but he also defended the actions of Hamas. He explained the root cause of their behavior, which is something you don’t see everyday. And for those of you who don’t know and this is important, Jon Stewart is a Jew.
