A question

For those of you who regularly read this blog: you’ve noticed that I write regular posts a lot less, and instead have these daily lists of links. I would try to start blogging normally more often again, and will try providing I have time, but in the meantime do you prefer:

1. Daily compilations of links as currently exists; OR
2. Each link to be posted individually with the opportunity to leave comments on that specific one.

I’d appreciate any thoughts on this issue ahead of an upcoming reorganization of the site. Thanks!

  1. Don’t you love it when you give people two options and they choose choice three?

In the interest of limiting emails,
is there no way to combine these two options: a compilation with accompanying general comment section organized by title specific to the article or issue?

Otherwise, individual emails w comments would be my choice.

    Thanks for all your efforts,

  2. I *love* the blog just the way it is. When you have time to post your own thoughts, they’re always great, but it’s fantastic to have the lists of interesting links even when you don’t have time for longer posts. I always check back here when I hear something Egypt-related in the news, because I know you’ll be sure to have great links posted to relevant comments and articles about whatever just happened. For me, I don’t particularly want to be able to comment on each individual link you post – I find that it’s handier to have them all in one post for a given date. Then if I’m just quickly checking to see if you’ve put up anything new, I can just look at the date of the most recent batch rather than trying to remember whether I’ve clicked on each individual article.

  3. I miss your longer posts! But overall appreciate the current link format. One entry per link would be annoying in google reader.

  4. That’s good now, but maybe if you post further comments on the links that will be nice. Also needs your long posts on Egypt specifically!

Appreciate your efforts in that great site and keep up the good work
