Come on people, a demo in Washington is important. I know a lot of you who read this site live there. Some of you have influence in certain academic, journalistic and policy circles. Get out there.
A demo in DC is sure a good idea. We need all the solidarity we can get down here in Cairo. It’s impressive how Zahran, and other activists abroad are organizing those chain demos in Canada, US, and the UK, via the internet. Good job guys..!

For those reading, does 12:30 or 1 p.m. on Thu in front of the Egyptian embassy press and info centre (Conn Ave) rather than embassy nafsuhu sound good? I figured Conn Av (near Farragut) is a more visible site than the godawful cul de sac of the Embassy.
